my friend and I towed and pushed cars up hills wensday night during the snow, for over 4 hours. he has a big ass dodge turbodeisel, with mud tires and chains on the rear. we managed to pull a box van fully loaded with stuff up a hill, it was sweet.

                          I'm a firm believer in RAK's.

Just before Christmas, I helped two ladies in the parking lot of the mall by showing them how to fill their tank with a jerry can. They had it full of gas, but couldn't figure out how to get the nozzle of the jerry can into the tank.

A few months before that it was changing a tire for a totally clueless dude in his E39 540i at a gas station. I told him I had an M5, that I knew what I was doing on the E39, and to step aside. He thanked me and I said "Sure, just go buy your new tires (his were bald) from Don at Discount Tire on Miramar Road".

A few months before that, I pulled into a parking space next to an old lady who was just getting into her car. I noticed a purse in the shopping cart in front of our cars, so I honked to get her attention then ran over to the cart, grabbed the purse, and took it to her window. She thanked me profusely.

Makes you feel good about yourself, thats for sure.

I do it all the time.

Usually gets me in trouble in some way.

i did something very similar a while back. my father was in the hospital and me and my sisters were there visiting him and forced to park in an expensive pay lot. we had separate cars and after visiting for most of the day we left together and i happened to be in front of them in line to pay for parking. when i got to the booth i pointed back and said "those are my sisters and they are going to cover my parking" the girl smiled, said ok and lifted the arm for me. i smiled and left sticking my sisters with my 15 dollar parking fee.
