Everyone can use them. It's not like they are saying we'll let LT use it and nobody else. Ricky Williams used one (probably to hide the bloodshot eyes, but either way), Brian Dawkins uses one, and I know there are others. It's the players choice.

I think they need to go for all players. LT is just an example of it. One thing you key on as a defensive player is a guy's eyes - whether its the QB, the back or a receiver. They are a split second, subtle signal that may tell you where things are headed and give you a better chance to react.

There are enough rules protecting the offense as it is. Look at the QB situation - you basically can't touch the guy 90% of the time.

I don't believe the Colts will be a "cakewalk."

However, I know the Patriots will be fired up after a 27-20 regular season loss to the Colts. Even with the Colts' Bob Sanders in the game, the Pats managed to get a running game going. As long as it doesn't turn into a trackmeet, the Pats should have a decent chance of winning.

The ground game will make the difference. Dillon and Maroney barely carried the ball yesterday, so they should be pretty fresh for next Sunday's game.

I took the line from Wedding Crashers, just modified it since crabcakes arent New England, as Dave pointed out.

Indy looked good against the Ravens, especially since they werent really challenged by the Chiefs. Should be a good game, but I just cant see Peyton overcoming the Belichick/Brady 1-2 punch.

I hate the Colts, but anyone who thinks the Colts will be a cake walk needs to get off the internet and start watching games. The Colts haven't lost at home yet this year, their D is finally clicking and everyone knows their offenese is explosive. LJ carried the ball for almost nothing a couple weeks ago, and the Ravens were shut down in bascially every sense. I actually do like Brady and I give him props for taking his team to the conference championship with all his former receivers gone.

I can't really call who will come out on top. I see another low scoring game with special teams deciding the game. Whoever wins will be in a world of hurt when they meet the Bears in the Super Bowl!!!!

If it was that much of an advantage wouldn't all of the backs be using them?

I talked to one of the Bengals about it once. He told me that he didn't like having it on, but he said that if you can tolerate it, it's an advantage in his opinion.

1 the chiefs suck. However, Herm Edwards was a dumass to keep pounding LJ inside even when Indy was stacking the line with 8 guys. Funny part was he did this the whole game! Pretty easy for Indy to win when the other team is coached by an idiot.

Im interested to see the matchup between Indy'd O and the Pats D. Noones respected the Patriots defense all year, but after the Ravens, they are seriously second best in the league. Look at how they stepped up yesterday, even after giving the Chargers rediculous field position almost every drive.

Yeah, Grossman isn't that bad. He did have a money completion in OT to set up that FG! The Bears defense just needs to step up in order to beat "America's Team."

If he hadnt have hit that wide open guy in OT he should have been released on the spot.

Hell the Ravens won it all with Trent Dilfer at QB!

On paper the Colts should win, I think. BUT, Brady has that Elway/Montana ability to pull things out in a clutch.

How well will Brees do against the Bears in what may be crappy weather?

So I guess it's one of those things that some guys deal with for the advantage. Negative for the back negative for the D. The accountant in me tells me that balances out.
