XP CD Key

For some reason I can't find an exact answer for this, I was hoping someone here might know.

How many times can you use a legit XP CD Key? I was under the impression you were allowed to register it 3 times before it wouldn't work. Does anyone know what the restrictions on this would be?

You can only use it once within a certain amount of days (maybe 90?), I forget what it is... But just call Microsoft and tell them your MB died and you are rebuilding your comp, they'll let it fly.

But if you're trying to use a hacked version, d/l a Corp copy.
