Overall - I'm every impressed. (but I hope that got him laid after the show, cause not much use else for it!!!)

OK, that's a bit harsh - no really - that take a ton of work to pull off something like that. So you mention 36 volts - that makes me think it is still battery driven? You must crack a lot of led-acid batteries doing that crap....

I assume the next step in that sport is to go wireless?

that is the next project on the chopping block. My friend is patenting his own style of euro air ride, with koni adj. shocks. He is exploding into the air ride scene here, so we want to put together a radical air hopper.

12 years ago when I got to germany the lowrider scene was at about 10 cars across entire germany. now there is 100s of lowriders over here. I like to feel like im important in some ways that I really helped the lowrider scene grow, and was in it from the beginning over here. I was the European champion 2 years in a row, and built or had alot to do with almost all the cars that have won sice 2000.

I am a lowrider at heart. sometimes its nice to come off the gas pedal, and enjoy the surroundings.

That's pretty cool. I would be you've got some hours into building that one up. I didn't really think hopping and all had a following in Europe, but I was wrong :D

I can't remember the video name, but there's a truck running on air that was getting at least all 4-wheels off the ground, it was ridiculous.

Haha, first guess on youtube and I found it but that's not the best video I've seen of it. That thing can fly..

It is just for show and promotion. He is the European supplier for Showtime Hydraulics over here. He has quite a few cars that drive, both bagged, and juiced. As for me, I am into the air thing now adays. It isnt illegal over here, and I am getting old. The work I did was in trade for the equipment that I put into my truck.

Toward the end of the video, when the right rear tire kicks out, it reminds me of elaine's dancing on seinfeld.. hahaah

Good workmanship otherwise. I definitely could not do something like that!. nice job!

I dont understand. You cant drive it. You just make it jump around to the music? That doesnt seem like much fun.

I can appreciate a bagged truck or lowriders in general, but hopping makes no sense to me.

I imagine this thing will last about a year or so, depending on the beating it gets. Yep, it needs new welding and repairs quite often when it gets used alot. It is a complete frame that is built into the car now.

That's awesome, I wonder if I could do that with my dads volvo lol.

How long does a shell last with that sort of abuse, surely it stresses the chassis to breaking point?

no driveline in it anymore. it is a mid 80s piece of crap. We have made plenty of wireless remoted for other cars, but the cable is much more reliable, and alot more exact on the times of the switches.
its supposed to roll over on its side.
