    I wondered when that'd come up. :)

I am certainly a shit stirrer, don't get me wrong, but I try to phrase things in a way that's obviously humorous. Would anyone who was really SERIOUS phrase things the way I did in that thread. I take everything pretty lightheartedly, I do tend to forget that not everyone does, though.

Besides, there is a difference to having a snappy, albeit cocky, retort and they typical "YOUR SO STEWPID" unaligned comment that a lot of people have. It's the same reason why I hate shows like: "Worlds Dumbest Criminals"... It's such schadenfreude. DON'T WORRY ABOUT YOUR SHITTY LIFE, YOUR DEAD END JOB, OR YOUR waffleswaffleswaffleswaffles OF A WIFE! LOOK AT THIS IDIOT WHO TRIED STEALING A BOTTLE OF LIQUOR AND GOT TRAPPED IN AN ELEVATOR! YOUR LIFE IS GOOD. YOUR LIFE IS OK!

Driving around in an immaculate car with collector tags makes me feel pretty good. I feel very smug when doing so. Sadly, said car isn't an e30, it's a german spec Sovereign (Jaguar).

I think the same would apply to someone tootling around in an immaculate e30 (sans DB cars, they don't ever look immaculate).

Said prestige applies to flawless E9's without question.

I know. The opportunity was just too good to pass up though.

Only in that he's overcoming obstacles and actually getting out there. I'm not inspired by his car, just his determination.

Sorry for being positive, let me interject some typical r3v negativity:

What a fggt, my 25 year old BMW is so much more PRESTIGIOUS than his 20 year old prelude. Why doesn't he get a real car what a fggt.

Lol I know they're not the same thing, but I think the similarities are interesting. And there are definitely some rat rods that are sadly fuh raze.

But assuming we accept the similarities, what does that make this car? Rat rice?
