i love/have all sorts of music...from billy holiday, to nirvana, to goldfrapp, portishead, tricky, etc etc....but seems The strokes, the killers, franz ferdinand, and cake seem to go with my e30 the best...the sound of the m20 and a nice bass rift w a guitar in the background..pretty nice

If I'm listening to Song 2 by Blur I tend to take the car over jumps and get into high-speed police chases.

You see the music depicts your driving style more at that time, than the car depicts its own music style. I mean listening to Petty and Clapton means you must be fucking stoned, but listening to hard rock or techno really gets me into an 'adventurous' driving mood.

I find myself diggin on alot of early Clapton (Cream, Bluesbreakers) and James Brown when I'm in the e30.

My e30 doesn't have stereo in it. Heh, but will probably listen to the same thing I listen in my daily driver, drum and bass, jazz, rap, pop, trance, 80s, 90s depending on the mood.

i just like to listen to cosmic gate or pakito or some other trance/elec. when driving on highway high speed.... their interior and esp. two door looks go well with trance music for some reason... esp. when lowered! if euro look then definitely some 2pac or biggie! rammstein or any other type like that would prolly go well with swapped 3.5 or turboed!

No Ramstein as a motto music for E30's. Our cars are more refined than that. :D

I ultimately would go with 1980's R&B for cruising purposes whilst getting in touch with the car's corner hugging capabilitiezzz

i'll listen to just about anything.. but i don't have a radio in my car.. DTM weigh reduction.. yo.. i'm thinking some slow and hard hitting rap, or some crazy long techno that bubbles up would be a good match for it. das ich also would work well, crazy german industrial FTW. then there's always ridin' dirty.. because i do it every day.

Any 80s music fits the e30 to a tee. I like Rammstein for modded e30s, as well as techno, but for a stock or lightly modded e30, its all about 80s music or German metal :)
