    M3 e30 tamiya r/c car

I know that there is allready a scale model thead. And i only seen one r/c car in it other then mine. And i did a search but all of the threads was from 2004-2005. I would like to see what other people did to theres, (i know some other people have to have this car on here). I had this body sitting on a tmaxx in another thread, but here it is on the one it came with. I painted mine pearl white and smoked the headlights and put a set of yokomo rims on it.

    Mine isn't e30 based, but:

Those are OLD pictures, but it is otherwise the same. I've got more carbon fiber now though (chassis, rear shock tower), and new fluorine coated shocks, drift tires etc. Small stuff.

I've also got a NitroRustler that I am rebuilding with a Traxxas 3.3 motor. I"m hoping for 65+MPH speeds. :)

I'm not to for sure what upgrades would be good for this car power wise. I'm into nitro r/c's and this is my first electric one.

Here's my effort with the Tamiya TT-01 based E30 M3. I copied what was the most famous E30 M3 here in Australia...the Benson and Hedges sponsored car.

                        Real thing:

                        My attempt:

                          ^^^ Looks really fucking good.

My car was based off of this car:

On a side note, the headlights are ricer windshield washer nozzle lights. I took apart the housings and used the LED's out of it for headlights. Worked perfectly!

Mine's pretty simple, went for a "mini me". Still need to find better wheels and paint for them that match the BBS Diamond black finish.
