    Discovery's future cars

Any body watching this. Its kinda cool to see where our car's will be going in 25 years. But shit I have yet to see 1 thing that is both pratical an decent looking. Every thing is so small you would have a hard time putting yourself an your weeks worth of food from the store in. Let alone 2 screaming kids an various other stuff we all keep in our cars. And another thing is everything has a plastic bubble for a roof, yeah it has great visability but if you flip it you would be toast. What about all of us people who need a truck?

    any thoughts?

I've been watching it but they are totally missing the performance market or at least a good portion of it.
I wish they would tell more about the cars, weight, power, suspension etc.

One had a roof that raised and lowered to allow access to the cabin. Why are normal doors always the first thing to go when they design said future cars?

A way to lower the population?

                hahahaha

what was up with the skateboard design??? interchangable bodies??? yea, that is gonna happen..lol

I did like the idea of putting a small motor on each wheel, that would mean some great weight balance.

What they're missing is that cars should be fun to drive.

Nobody wants to floor the pedal and hear...'whrrrrrrrrrrrr'.

I want to push my foot into the floor, hear..."VRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM" (or in the case of my e30..."SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET"....) and know that I'm being moved by a volatile explosion of dead dinosaurs, not by some waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles electric motor.

                  P.S. Diesel fuel's still good.

Yeah, I'm not too sure about the skateboard idea. Seems really limited. Other than the body of course.

I thought it was pretty cool from a general standpoint. High-performance wise I snoozed until they showed that car that weighed 1,000lbs and had 500hp. That solution that made rubber 10% more stretchable was pretty cool too.

Yeah so far that was the best. Is that the car that was aerodynamicly almost as good as it gets?
