    Solid Modeling

I am in an advanced solid modeling class using Pro/Engineer Wildfire 3.0. We need to pick something to model for a project. Should be an assembly with at least 20 parts. Anyone have any ideas of what I could model?

If anyone wants to share some of their work with 3D modeling that would be cool.

    Thanks

Here are a few pictures of my RC car that I was modeling. These are older pics, but I got almost all the way done with the entire car, then kind of got bored with it.

I did everything in Inventor. The hardest and coolest thing I did was the fuel tank. It slopes in several different ways and has internal baffles.

Is this a Traxxas Nitro Rustler by chance?

Looks like a Team Associated RC 10/GT to me, but it's been a LONG time since I was into RC cars

edit: after following your link, I realized it is in fact a Traxxas Nitro Rustler ...

I taught inventor to myself after learing AutoCAD in school. I caught on quick with inventor, but what you see is using only a SMALL portion of what the program can actually do. There are great tutorials that come with the program if you want to learn.

Yes, it is a Traxxas Nitro Rustler. I am actually just getting it back up and running after blowing the engine. Putting a Traxxas 3.3 motor in it. ~2.0 HP@ 30,000RPM in a 3lb. car = 70+ MPH speeds and wheelies gallore. :) I can't wait. The motor should arrive today.
