stripped threads/boltheads in really bads places/times kill me its the worst feeling when that happens.
besides that eating too much acid and thinking you'll give yourself a heart attack sucks.

And hair in your food is worst of all. Id rather have an acid tripped heart attack than someones hair in my food.
No real creppy crawly fears hear. I dont like them but I dont freeze when I see them.
    Cool Thread

I agree with the water thing for sure. I am also afraid of heights. One time I thought the same thing about working under my car. I would stop and think that this shit could fall and the only thing stoping that is this 20 pound metal triangle with a pole sticking out of it. I was expecialy thinking this when I was putting my diff in. Lots of shaking of the car going on there.

I'm also quite uncomfortable on and around deep, open bodies of water. Even on a cruise liner I tend to stay away from the edges of the ship. And there's no way you could get me to walk on a long pier on the ocean.

Heh, I'm that way too. Never comfortable walking around the city. Especially by myself.

i'm afraid of the possibility for crippling injury. sometimes just under my car i think "what if this shit fell and i were crippled because of it?" stops me for a second, i think i would rather die

I used to be a little bit afraid of heights, then I went skydiving. Took care of that one.

Small places and heights. Although I love the feeling of being scared while I am in a high place, it's such a rush.

LOL! Yeah.. I really thought that I posted it too and I must have gotten drunk and passed out.

Right.. and that's how I knew I didn't start the thread. That's EXACTLY how I would have phrased the topic. And now, things that scare me:

    Seeing mutilated dead bodies

Seeing televised surgeries and autopsies where they cut open the abdomen and unravel the intestines

    The boogie man

    Tough looking guys with guns

Coming face to face with people that I meet in internet chat rooms after I talked a bunch of trash about how I can beat them up

    Hypodermic needles

A 300 lb female nurse with a mustache and rubber gloves

The puppet from "Tales from the Crypt"

Guys in sunglasses driving plain-looking full sized sedans with little tiny antennas all over the trunk and roof.

State troopers when I am driving 40 MPH over the speed limit

Falling elevators (while inside of the cab)

A snake crawling out of my toilet (especially when I am sitting on it)

Heights (20 FT in the air on a scissor lift is no fun)

Falling (even though I don't mind the sudden stop that follows)

Fat ugly women who I can't get rid of after a night of pity sex

A bill collector with a deep raspy voice

    Getting caught whacking off

A monkey with a loaded crossbow

Beating up on my girlfriend and then falling asleep while she is still awake

    Using a bidet

My car breaking down in the worst part of some major city

    Seeing my parents have sex

That about covers most of of what scares me.. but now that you have me thinking, I am sure there is more!

thats true about the dog thing, i stay calm but it still makes me uneasy. I've been bit my fare share, worst one was while riding a bike a pit bull came up and got my ankle, yanked me off the bike and kept goin at it. after tryin to calm down a bit some guy came up and kicked the dog. no harm done, just a bit scared lol. Im cool with dogs, love 'em(have a few, golden retriever, black labs) and I eventually want to get a German Shepard when I move into my own place and can allow him to have some room.

Dogs pick up on that. If you're scared you are going to freak them out right back, and that could be dangerous. I'd try and work on that if I was you. All you need is a bite to re-enforce your fears, then you're screwed for life when it comes to dogs.

That said, just because a person comes to my house, doesn't mean I let my dog around them. My regular buddies are all cool with him, but I can see when he is sketched out by someone, and so I keep them separate so my mutt doesn't experience weird vibes, and so nobody gets bit and tries to turn my dog in. I rarely let people around him unless they have dogs of their own.
