I thought that a turbo s52 would put down more HP that that.......

it may. the original seller claimed 400 to the wheels at 10psi
the guy i bought it from told me 350 @ 10 psi.
id rather error on the conservative side as i havent dynoed it.

thats seam sealer and it is indeed an s52. with an obd1 valve cover

That makes sense about the valve cover - s52's have the oil change cap twoards the front of the motor.

I have seam sealer on my 95 m3 as well (as i bet they all do) but that looked like a lot more than mine...
