H eis totally insane, after all that all he can do with the car is store it in a controlled environment, if he drives it, he will spoil the finish. :o

Personally, I don't find it that amazing. Now, let me clarify. Yes, it looks damn good and WHOLE lot better then it did before, but the whole measuring the thickness of the paint to get it perfectly flat? Come on. There is no way 5 microns is going to be even noticeable.

I guess all I'm saying is that any good everyday cut and polish can achieve the same results without having to "analyze" the paint first.

                  Clearly everyone has different priorities.

Personally, thats nothing short of amazing...however I'd never go to that extent to detail my car.

Love the car....Damn US regulations about importing decent vehicles... I'll never understand how we can have the shitboxes coming out of Detroit and imported from Korea, yet we can't legally half of the decent cars out there .. Oh, and sweet shine with the car. I would actually but that wax if I had a detailing shop and used it alot, since you could easily charge $1500+ to do a wax job with that stuff, so you could easily pay for it within a few years

I agree, however, people do not really appricate the results of something unless they can see some degree of effort or some mystical secret force that went into it. For instance, most PC problems can be solved by restarting the machine- But when I worked in tech support, management always seemed to feel like they were getting their money's worth out of me if I took the PC from under their desk, opened the case, removed some parts and blew out all of the dust. And then afterwards if I said, "Whew! It was tough but I got it working now! You have really been working the crap out of this machine! 3 more months and your CPU will be worn out!"

And the manager would stand there with a big grin on his face and say, "Oh really? WOW!" But in times where I walked in and seemingly fixed the PC by restarting it, the manager sat there with a strange look on his face like, "Hmm.. why I am paying you all of that money?"
