So I got up to Sierra at Tahoe around 8:30-9 and was one of the first ones on the mountain. Making first tracks is SUCH a great sensation. They had close to 3' of powder at the top of the mt in some sections where teh wind blew the powder around.
It was the lightest, driest, fluffiest powder I have EVER snowboarded in. My right leg was really tired from leaning back so far all day but it was so worth it. Got to try out my new board in the pow for the first time, and it rocked. 2007 burton baron with P1 burton bindings, such a nice combo.
hit the tree runs and everything, got stuck in it a few times it was SO deep and had to dig/hike out. what an awesome day!!
