anyone good with excel or maybe good with programing??

i am trying to help out the guy who runs the go kart track were me and my brother race. instead of trying to add up the point and put them in order, i made an excel spreadsheet to automatically add up the total for each race.

i was wondering if anyone would know how to make the order of the racers from highest to lowest setup automatically to.

i used excel a bit last year. im thinking the "Sort" function under Data would be the way to do it. hope this helps.

yeah, i know how to do it manually, but there are like 15 classes and i would like it to do it by itself

I hope this is the function you are looking for, select the first cell of the list you want ordered, the go to data, choose filter, and then auto, my ecxel is in spanish so i don't know the names of the functions in english, so i include two captures of the screen so you can check out, also this will link all the fields in the record to that order, soit will reorder all the columns according to the value affected by the auto filter on the data.
