Ok... i need help with this.. Dig. Cam

My gf wants me to pick up a digi cam for her before going back to france. Budget is roughly under $300. She wants something versatile, good battery life, easy to use, powerful and reliable. This camera will mostly be used to take vacation and party pictures (i'll try to get a few euro e30 glamour shots with it too ;-))

So far, i've been looking through DP reviews and the FUJIFILM F30 seems like a good buy, considering it's ability to take low light pictures well.

Any other optinions or directions?

Canon SD630.

Got one brand new from a guy here for my Girlfriend and she loves the thing. As it turns out, the picture quality is very good and there are some manual features that you can play with to make them even better. I think most retail locations have them for around $300, but you can probably find them cheaper on amazon or somewhere.
