Grindhouse = Greatest movie EVAR.

We went and saw Grindhouse last night, and holy fucking SHIT, was that one of the best movies I've ever seen. Or should I say, 2 of the best movies I've ever seen.

Planet Terror (Rodriguez) was just 100% over the top, the WHOLE time. Ridiculously gory, hilarious one-liners, awesome characters, tits, and Rose McGowan. Rose having an M-16 with a rocket launcher for a leg might have been simultaneously the hottest and the dumbest thing I've ever seen.

Death Proof (Tarantino) started out kinda slow, but damn, once it got going, it was a RIOT. Kurt Russel was so fucking good, it was unbelieveable. Pretty much the last 45 minutes of Death Proof was a car chase, involving Kurt Russel in a flat black charger, and 3 HOT-ass chicks in a white '70 Challenger, ala Vanishing Point, and a fucking hilarious game of "Ship's Mast". Those of you that have seen Vanishing Point will LOVE Death Proof.

Seriously, GO SEE Grindhouse. This was without question the BEST value of a movie ticket you will ever get. Two fucking hilarious action movies, a shitload of fake trailers (the trailer for "THANKSGIVING" is one of the funniest things I've ever seen, period), and even a few ads for random products.

Go see it. GO.
