got a speeding ticket for 70 in a 60 zone.

came over the top of a hill and there was good ol wsp sitting on the side of the road with his radar out. damn i need to get a v1

i pretty much have no choice but to fight it because my defferal for my last ticket is up NEXT month! aaa i couldnt of waited one more month to get a freakin ticket.

yea, i was even in the HOV lane. no cars infront of me in my lane, and very few in the lane to my right.

I was talking to a cop at the gym I go to and he said that the cops rarely go after people unless they are going 15 MPH over the limit. Most of the time, people get caught when there are few cars around, like your case. If there were a few more cars around, you probably would not have been stopped. Thats why I kinda love/hate not having other cars around on the highway.

I have had a handful of speeding tickets in my driving career and I managed to successfully fight every single one. Around here the courts are usually so crowded that the judge will permit anyone who chooses to plead guilty to pay the fine without any further repercussions. And if you are not offered that opportunity (as in the case of my last ticket) I took it all the way to the appeals court. I eventually got off, however, one thing that I learned about the appeals process is that it takes a LONG time.. After the judge found me guilty, I went to the clerk's window and filed for an appeal. It took 3 months to go to court just so I could get a new court date. I was scheduled to appear 4 months later. As I said, I was able to go free with probation, however, had I been found guilty again, at least I would have not had to pay that ticket or suffer the repercussions for the next 7 to 8 months.

I almost got one last night, I was going maybe 73 in a 65 (I don't know for sure because my speedo is busted) Then I saw a HP, so I slammed the brakes and I saw him trying to wedge his way out of his little hiding spot.

I didn't see him follow me but about 2 min later I see flashing lights behind me, the best thing was is that there was ANOTHER white jetta like mine RIGHT behind me, so he pulled that guy over!

ummm.......yeah, because he fucking bumper paced me, and the judge totally sided with the fucking CHP. bumper pacing is so inacurate it's not even funny.
