    Hurst Olds

I was just sent some photos from my father who visited a business friend in SC and got to check out his completely restored 69 Hurst Olds.

I may not know that much about old muscle cars but this car impressed me.

You were serious when you said "Completely restored" that car is 100 points.

The Ram Air hood scoop does not look familiar though, maybe a special model, that car is worth it's weight in gold.

    Astonishing. :D

WOW, I noticed a piece of cloth between the stand and the rear axle control arm, that's a well taken care of car also. ;)

Sometimes I wish that I had a time machine so that I could go back to 1971, buy some muscle cars.

Gorgeous car, as much as I love restorations, I just find them boring w/ no mods or personality.

When i seen Hurst Olds, i thought some one bought theirself one of the one's from the 80's. Then i clicked on the thread, and was like WOW, a real muscle car. That is a hot looking car and is restored very well. I got one of the original Motor Trends with that car on the cover. It was described as "The rich man's Hot Rod".

So, I guess you don't go and do nasty burnouts with that, do you?

Seriously though, that is a NICE restoration. Cool car.

Justin your dad should totally buy that car. That would definately take care of any potential midlife crisis that Mr. Proffit may have! By the way i promise i wont make an ass out of myself at your wedding! Take it easy bro

beautiful! I had a 1968 convert in highschool. it was a fake badged 442, but it was still pushin in the 350hp range. the H/O cars were always my dream. even the 1987 models with the crappy 307s looked cool, and the "lightning rod" shifet(3 rods) was so cool.

Me & my Dad have a '69 Olds 442 convertible sitting waiting to restore. We're the 2nd owners, and there's 89,xxx on the odom. It's only going to get a solid motor freshening, and interior / top work, then we're driving the crap out of it. I don't want it to be a show car, & neither does Pops. Should be fun.

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.
