Fair enough. I do go to Florida every few months, and I can tell the attitude there is different. The thing is, there's a HUGE variety of people in the south. I don't see how the Florida population hasn't killed itself off yet. Anyway, I still think it's fading away, and in time racism won't be an issue (well, I guess it will always be an issue, but not like it has been or even is now). Look at all the white kids who look up to black musicians and try to act like they do in music videos.

Son: It is not a cookie motha, it is a Fig Newton.
Mother: Oh, very well then, carry on.

Ok, THAT had me literally busting up laughing, thank you. Best laugh I've had all day.

Seconded. I'm half Mexican, and beaner jokes crack me the fuck up. I know half of the world hates Carlos Mencia, but that's THE reason I love that guy. He does what everyone should be doing, finding the humor in our differences rather than dwelling on them and getting pissed off. Racism and hate are heavy baggage. If you spend your life being pissed off all the time about race, you're going to find that you've missed out on a lot of funny shit.
