Wholy Shi'ite!!!! UFC acquires Pride Fighting!

I don't know how I missed this but the UFC has acquired Pride. I wished to even watch a couple of the Pride guys come beat down the UFC fighters but now, I get to watch all of them match up! Most all of my fellow countrymen fight in Pride so it will be cool to see them stateside. UFC had already brought over Anderson Silva. Me and a really close friend have argued about which was more hardcore, UFC or Pride. I always thought it was obvious but he would always argue UFC was/is.... Shi'ite....

Oh well, as long as I get to see highlights of Fedor owning I'm cool... It will be interesting to watch Minotauro and Wanderlei Silva fight some of the UFC guys.

Wandy has lost some of his rep by losing to hendo, and crocop before that.

He needs to come in, kick chucks ass and then people will notice.
Either that or bring Shogun in. If Shogun comes in and cleans house, it will almost make up for no Fedor.

I completely agree with every statement you made. Either Wanderlei or Shogun needs to come in and fight Liddell right off the bat. However, I don't really see that happening. They will probably put it off for some time while they build up all the BS hype. Even though Wanderlei/Liddell has been anticipated for some while. Liddell, at one time, stated he enlisted in one of the Pride tournaments just to fight Silva. That was in respone to how he felt about fighting Wandelei though, so.... I respect him bu I am really ready for someone to get in there and beat his azz.

Maybe, the UFC heads will be able to setup Wanderlei x Shogun. I doubt it since they are in the same camp but that would be one hell of a fight!

Chute Box is too cool to fight themselves, Shogun is respectful and doesn't mind waiting for wandy to step down and let him reign as king.

They say GSP is the perfect example of the new breed of fighters. I say shogun would show people what that type of young fighter can do in a bigger weight class.
