jeez, and I thought i'd be happy with a 46inch Sony XBR.

Good TV's are expensive, and my 32 is getting small.

i JUST got this story from a friend of mine.
he does miata service for friends. this girl had a roll back dropping off her car at his house while he was out working today. well the driver dropped the car, started rolling down his driveway and crashed into the brick wall between his two garage doors. messed up the bricks.

ok, it gets better. he was on the phone with her as this happened. quoted, "get this. i was on the phone with the owner of the car when it happened. I heard "oh no! stop! stop! [CRUNCH] [phone drop]""
she ran after the car and happened to have it roll over her arm.
to top it all off, shes in the hospital. not only for the injury but she just gave birth.

Do they still have to ground ship all the plasma monitors? I hear they burst at too low of a presure.

As far as I know, yes. They also can't be laid flat, they have to remain upright at all times.
