As for the carrier, those things sold for $100 back in 1985 or so. So for someone to hang on one that long in new box status is well worth what they are going for on Ebay. That is one thing I loathed for when I was a kid!

Just picked this up for $50 at a yard sale. About 90% complete. Fully assembled this fucker is 7 1/2ft long.

Dude, that stuff is packed away in a box at the parents place now... I only break the monorail out during Xmas and put it around the tree, lol.

I think I need to do the "Tim Allen" mod to that thing though... too slow... turn it into a bullet train, hehe :D

Nice find! Those carriers are HUGE! It was one of those toys that I thought was cool but never really wanted because it didn't move :D I still have all my Joes, the oldest being the original Jeep and GI Joe Base.

I remember seeing that in stores when i was a kid. But it was one of those toy's that i never could get. And the other was the LEGO monorail.

I pulled a USS Flagg out of a dumpster at a apartment complex once, it was in trash bags and was all there. I sold it on ebay for $175 and the guy picked it up. I even included like 4 planes with it too. Pretty cool toy. I Also have alot of transformers and Voltron that I sold to fund my car addiction.
