dammit so two new scratches. But i got him back, it was like instinctive to just punch him in the face, I love dogs. but i guess the Instinct to protect the e30.

now for the question. does any of the scratch stuff work? there little not to bad but when i look in the mirror i can see them. so just wondering

if your lucky it should just buff out. we had a customer who just bought a mint alfa spyder, and his dogs jumped on his trunk...he brought it in and Adam was able to buff it out, but it had a good amount of clear coat on it.

not really it was a boxer so it couldnt really tell what just happend. but it yelped.

I swear you come up with dumb stuff to say because you are bored. If I worked in close quarters with you, I'm pretty sure we'd have a "don't talk to me about ANYTHING not directly related to work" rule in effect. I hope you're a far cry from your internet personality in real life.


Get a dog declawed.........simply amazing. Again, I hope you never own a dog. Goldfish might be the level where you call it good.


To the OP, if it's your dog, why not take the time to teach him/her that's not good behavior. Teach 'down' as a hand gesture, and do it before even coming to a complete stop. That way the dog can see your hand, and you don't need to roll down the window, or yell over the sound of a running motor.

Or de-sensitize the dog to you coming home by pulling in & out of the driveway a dozen times in a short period of time - the dog will loose interest in the concept, and from then on your mutt won't care and you won't have future scratches to fix. Fix the problem, not the results.

Boxers are cute. Post a pic. And you don't need to hit it, once a dog knows what your hand is curled like with a finger tucked to flick it on the nose, you'll see that it's pretty amazing how much a dog doesn't want you popping it on the nose. My dog will flatten his ears & try and show an incisor or two when he sees my middle finger coming in to flick him for punishment. Even a vocal "bad" (deep tone of voice) carries a lot of weight, people underestimate a dog's desire to please his/her people. Easiest animal in the world to get the behavior you want from, really.
