I believe that he has several 4's in the deck configured as kings, queens, jokers, and even aces.. so you essentially see a deck of various cards but the number 4 is on most of the cards.

Yeah.. definately fake. When you see him on TV the camera angles always seemingly switch at the right moment or whichever camera we see is conveniently pointing away from him right when he does the secret part of his trick.
