Conversion vans were really popular in the 70's however there were no custom conversion factories like there are now. Back then anyone who had a conversion van usually did the majority of the work themselves. I have a good feeling that they are going to make a comeback. Personally I would have liked to trick out a step van. Its tall enough to stand up inside and you could install bunk beds. Heck, its wide enough to put in a full size bed and turn the whole cargo area into a swinging bachelor pad.Comment
