Nate: that bike looks really good. I love the way a naked bike looks.

Awesome. Very low miles for that bike. My F2 had about 32k when I sold it.

        my first bike; 94 ninja

my second bike was a track 99 r6, but I can't find any pics of it.

        here's my 01 when I got it;

        after the reconstruction

here's my 06 ninja 636 that I got right before winter

950 miles on it. got it for $3400. got it all stripped down now, fixed what was needed, threw on vortex adjustable rearsets, and frame, bar end, and swingarm sliders. just need a fairingstay, cluster, and race glass and it's ready for the track

Old school bikes rule. I always dug the FZ600. Remember the VF1000R? I owned two Rz350s back in the day. I went apeshit on the first one. Carbs, SpecII chambers, shaved head, Boysens, sprockets. It would destroy 500 Interceptors. It came on the pipe like a switch was flipped At 6k. First gear was a joke & it would lift the front tire in second. Not bad for 350cc's Some little filipino mofo stole it when I was stationed in the Philippines back in 86. F*#ker!

endurance engineering subframe with a catalyst composites race tail. tail light is a led lightbar replacing the brakelight and I need to put my turn signals back on before riding it. there is no undertail peice at the moment and I'm not sure if I'm going to put on on or what I'd do

                          first wreck:
losing control of throttle, 12 o'clockin it by accident hanging onto bike by handle bars (with the throttle full under my palm)... ended up pulling myself up so that i could release the throttle a bit, front wheel touching the ground 10 ft before the car that i rearended at near 50mph. i flew off the bike, my shin slapped the gas tank as i was ejected, breaking my tibia clean in half. spent 5 months in a cast that came halfway up my thigh.

                          second wreck:
cold streets, cold tires, taking an onramp at a careful speed (~30mph), not knowing that dew had formed on the street surface of just the ramp. bike kicked out to the left underneath me, sending it flying right into a gaurd rail. i actually bailed this time, half way through the slide though, coming to a stop right before the rear tire. slight fracture on my left arm and scraped the hell out of my knee. walked it off.

Ah fuck, that must have hurt.

I think i'm gonna get the aerostitch suit, seems like the best protection for the money.

For the same money as the aerostitch you could have a BMW textile suit or a set of leathers.

                                full leathers >*

also, riding boots and full gauntlet gloves are great

i used to always wear my boots when I streetride. super comfortable, protective, and also I ride with gp shift which pressed on my toes a bit too much unless i was wearing my riding boots

I rock a shoei rf-1000 helmet, alpinestarts smx plus boots, alpinestars gp plus gloves, and here's my dainese techno suit
