Which make it to be the handicraft of the master level.

I got myself a new mp3(4) player I thought I would share with you guys.

I had a zune and sold it, I also have owned several ipods. After either losing them, breaking them, or getting them stolen, I decided to buy a cheapo mp3 player now.

I got a 4gb ME2 Chinese ipod clone one off ebay for $42 shipped!

Its pretty slick for $42, does mp3, video, fm radio, e-books, voice recorder, photos, and games.

I don't care about anything except music though.

What I really like is it acts like a thumb drive when you plug it into your computer, just comes up as a storage device and you just drop your mp3s in, no need for any additional software/drivers.

It also comes with a wall charger, headphones, and a silicone case.

In all honesty I think its better than an ipod, its about 1/4 the price so if it gets smashed, lost, or stolen its not as big of a loss. It also has a bigger screen.

The only down side is the UI. Its not that great, its not intuitive like you would think, but once you get used to it, its not horrible either, just kinda awkward for a while until you figure it out.

Also the "boot time" is slow, take a couple seconds for it to turn on, and then even after it does you have to select music right away, it does not save where you were, IE video, music, e-book, etc...

There also doesn't seem to be a hold feature, the switch on the top is the on off switch. Which I guess for me isn't a problem since I only use mp3 players in my car.

The manual as expected is pretty much a joke, its all engrish, here as some good excerpts:

This machine is a new generation digital Walkman, which support MP1, MP2, MP3, WMA, WMV, ASF, WAV format. It has perfect sound effect, extreme stability and smart feature, which make it to be the handicraft of the master level. And we sincerely hope that it can bring you wonderful comfort.

    Volume Adjusting:
Shortly press "VOL-", to decrease the volume.
Shortly press "VOL+", to decrease the volume.

    USB disk using:
The player is the standard USB disk function thats supports windows 98 (Need install the drive procedure), above win2k (needn't install the drive procedure)

Anyways, if you guys wanna pick one up you need to stay away from "hacked" mp4 players. People will list them as 4GB or so, which anyone assumes is 4 GigaBYTES. But inreality it is 4 GigaBITS. When you plug it in it will show up as 4 GigaBytes, but if you format it, or try to put 4gb of music on it, it will crash the player.

This is the link to the one I got, this seller seems to be pretty good:

    And heres pics of it:

    WOW FUCKING GAY

I just fucking plugged it in, and it said it needed to be formatted... So I format it and now its 2gb. God damn hacked player. That was the first thing I did too when I got it was check to make sure it was REALLY 4gb, and it said it was.

    Lame sauce.

I'm way too happy with my iPod to even bother defending it

I've had mine for almost two years now.

Mmm... sounds like a shitty product. My ipod is dead though, finally, after some pretty harsh abuse. I need some sort of mp3 player, long term duarability would be nice, but I'm pretty sure I will destroy any sort of electronics within a year anyway. Mine would definitely need a hold feature. I keep it in the tiny pocket inside the right pocket. Need to figure out a replacement, but nothing expensive, the turbo project needs regular feeding.

Dude, that peice of shit looks like it was put together by little kids from scraps of plastic and remnants of an iPod. Glad you didn't pay too much for it.

You could have gotten the little 5 gig Sansa that my little brother got for Christmas for $40 more, and it's badass.

            And Sum 41 sucks.

I am so impressed with the Samsung T9 4GB I got for my son.

Excellent sound quality, seems great build quality too.

My only bitch is lack of Windows Media 11 capability, but I expect it soon.

Keep us posted on the chinese player (chiPod, anyone?)
