9 Driving Secrets from Police Officers

Most are lame - but maybe someone will pick up something from this that might help them down the road...

I carry a box of donuts in my car.

If a cop is on my tail, I throw one out the window as far as I can.

"Left-foot braking is a legitimate advanced technique, but one that's far too advanced for the vast majority of Americans."

Now, that's silly, you just have to be left handed to do it :p

When I first learned to drive, that was the only way I drove until my mom noticed and told be to brake and accelerate with the same foot. I can do either really, but prefer right foot only with heel-toeing. Two feet just seem to complicate things, not to mention, I like to brace my left foot against the firewall in hard braking conditions.

So your feet are "bi"...lol. I hear indycar drivers have a huge debate about it...

i was browsing the state website for whatever reason and got lost in their lame search application.

anyway.. I stumbled on yearly PDF publications of what is explained simply to be data analysis on traffic stops for the 8 major sections of the state.

it was somewhat suprising to see the detail that they went in their analysis for my area. (a several hundred page PDF.. with indepth degree of data, analysis, conclusions etc)

they are plotting where the traffic is and where its easy to pull people over

so you can, with precision, avoid these areas.

Haha, these guys are trying to be funny. This one put a pretty cool picture in my head. "Now picture a side-impact car crash that snaps your neck against a partially open side window. A guillotine is only slightly more efficient."

Does this give us permission to put lights and sirens on our car?:D
"Ever been driving down a two-lane road at night and the other driver failed to dim his brights? Here's what you do: switch on the blues, take-downs, and hi-lo siren, do a quick U-turn and bust A CAP" <- changed it alittle
