most of your fuel went out the tailpipe, those motors were so crude compared to todays offerings,. thats to say nothing of the sheer terror you experienced when you tried to stop or turn. still fun though. i had a 69 roadrunner with a 426 hemi and it was a monster. but what a piece of shit overall

i just remembered a blurry story you told about that car. Something about pissing off some old man by doing burnouts up and down his street??

close but that was in my buddies 72 SS chevelle. i was at jeannie lutz's house at about 1am after the bars had closed and i didnt score any ass so i took the second best shot and went to get jeannie. her parents loathed me . she was always willing to climb out her window and fuck me at lake harriet in the middle of the night. i was pissing on the side of her fathers house when he came flying out the door after me. i assume he would of kicked my ass if he had caught me but i headed for the car with my schlong dangling in the breeze pissing all over myself. i got in and backed away from him and then left the neighborhood. but i got to thinking in a "drunk on my ass" kinda way and thought i would teach him a lesson. so i went back and started doing hardcore donuts in his intersection. the whole block was filled with smoke and i was drunk and ended up hitting a telephone pole with the right rear quarter and really fucking up my friends car. after i hit the pole and the smoke cleared i saw jeannies dad and a neighbor coming at me with bats. i backed off the pole and started backing down the street just fast enough so they couldnt catch me. they were close and they were running but i would adjust my speed to stay just far enough away that they couldnt catch me while i taunted them thru the windshield. god they were fucking fuming and i still laugh to this day 30 some years later when i think of the looks on their faces. i ended up paying over a grand in 1975 dollars to fix that chevelle. we had traded cars that night and my poor buddy got the short end of the stick that night.

The push putton TorqueFlite, i loved mine in my 64 Fury. And they have a couple of cars on that list that i had,

              67 coronet R/T, but mine was a 440 not a HEMI
In 1967, Dodge introduced a muscle car whose initials stood for Road and Track. Without disturbing the Coronet's lines, the R/T Hemi added enough performance cues to make its meaning clear. Learn about the 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T Hemi.

              68 GTX 440 auto
With the hot new Road Runner anchoring the lower rungs, a familiar name returned to top off Plymouth's midsize muscle ladder -- the ’68 GTX. Learn about this muscle car.

              70 AMC AMX 390 4sp, ram air
There was always controversy about whether AMC belonged in the muscle car club. But with a larger V-8 for 1970, the AMX proved itself again. Find out more about the 1970 AMC AMX.

69 Road Runner 383 4sp, got it as a parts car
It was noisy, it was rough, it was everything buyers wanted in a muscle car. Find out more about the engine that made the 1969 Plymouth Road Runner Hemi so popular.

And my dream car, 69 SC/Hurst Rambler
Laugh away, but the Hurst SC/Rambler could blow the doors off some pedigreed muscle cars. Too bad AMC had to compensate for its advertising budget by making a billboard of the car. Learn more.

This was my "High school car"

It was a Nightmare to drive, didn't turn, didn't stop, it was fast, but close (just a tad faster) than the 1982 BMW 323I.

Used to have lots of fun in it, I ran BF Goodrichs Belted T/A 265/70/14 on 8.5" wheels.

                0 Traction on water BTW.

They put a "shaker" hood on a four door?

OK, to make a long story short, we had a commie govt. from 1970 to 1973, and a socialist one from 1966 to 1970, therefore car imports were forbidden, all the cars you could get were the ones made in Chile, but embassies and ionternational orgs. could import cars, so if you had the connections and the money you could buy one of those cars, so all the foreign cars in chile from 1966 to 1973 were all embassy or int org. cars.

Those cars had all documentation problems, unpaid taxes, wrong year in the titles (they were registered when licensed, some years after being made), so after some years ended garaged in some old foke's house, that's how i got mine, I found it garaged in 1983, the old man (former employee of the Aussie Embassy) sold it because his wife died, he used it to go to church on sundays with his wife, it had ran a total of 135.000 kilometres up to 1983.

I bought it, got new tires, and ran it until 1988 when I got married and bought a Fiat. :( .

Also, the Falcon was made in chile too, but with an argentinean inline 6 and a 289 mexican V8, but with no shaker hood and different headlights.
