What problems would America have? Job openings? That doesn't sound like a problem. There are many legal citizens who have (for centuries) filled the same jobs illegals have started to fill. The job will get done if it needs to get done, this is a resourceful country, it wont crumble if a few million people are displaced.

Because white people, teenagers, and all others are CLAMOURING for hard back breaking labor for 10-14 hours for minimum wage. Plus the fact that these people get paid substadard wages in substadard conditions, it helps maintain the low prices at WalMart. Unless you want the goods these people help produce to exponentially increase then by all means go right ahead. If there werent jobs here, and huge conglomerate corporations looking to edge out more and more profit to hire them, they wouldnt be here. But no one talks about that.

It didn't take me long after migrating to the US with my parents to come under the impression Memorial Day was to commemorate and remember U.S. men and women who have died in military service to their country.

None of us, illegal or legal, permanent resident or citizen, would be enjoying all that the United States has to offer if it weren't for all of those who risked their lives. I thank them and look up to them as heroes.

No, people aren't clamoring for the unskilled low paying jobs the illegals are taking, but my point is that these low paying backbreaking jobs have always existed here and there's always been someone willing to do it, cause it's a job. We wont have any problems with Walmart or places like that, they can just outsource their manufacturing to third world countries and continue to have these goods made for cheap.

I'm in total agreement that our situation is really not these peoples fault, if I illegaly enter a place and I'm not wanted, I would not expect to be rewarded with a job. The real people to blame are the greedy employers who are just looking to profit from cheap labor, that's wrong, and that's what will need to change in order to reduce the influx of illegals. The other problem is that the places they are coming from are so fucked up that they are willing to risk their lives to get here. No one talks about that either.

Good rebuttal. But do you understand that you just said that the way that we solve the problem of taking american jobs away is that they will just outsource them and still not make those jobs available to the same people? I respect that you actually see the other side of the argument.
