You were lied to buddy, having owned one for 2 years I enjoyed every second of it.

If you know how to change oil, swap vacuum lines, and can turn a wrench then you can find these cars quite enjoyable.

back in 1990 when I was in H.S. a good friend of mine had a 1966 GTO with a 400c.i. pontiac motor. he rear ended someone and F**Ked it up really bad.

A few weeks later he got a Starion-- after tearing up 2 transmissions and having ZERO money........
No BULLs**t-- we solid mounted the 400 from the GTO in it-- damn was it fast-- but the solid mounting of the motor ended up tearing that car apart after about 3 months

it was really cool to ride in it with that super huge cam shaking the crap out of that car.

I went and looked at it, it needs some tlc. Had some rust on the bottom 1/4's and on front fender. I tried to trade him a Blazer i got, but he wouldn't go for it lol. I told him i'd be interested in it, but i got to sell this blazer first. He knew what i was talking about, most people been there before. I think i can sell this blazer fast anyway since i dont have much in it and i can put a low price on it for a fast sale. But if it's still there when i sell this blazer i'll pick it up, if it isn't...oh well there is more cars out there to be had!

good show ol' chap. Good luck on it being there!

there's some jackass in my town who has a conquest with 22?" Gold wire rims, candy blue paint job, and loud as fuck sound system.

I find it insulting to the car's heritage. A red Starion with the rally gear would look magnificent.

I had a 1st gen AWD Eagle Talon for a while with a 16g turbo upgrade. That shit was fast! A Starion with a 4g63 swap would be pretty damn cool!
