I hate when people use thier high beams behind me when I am driving. It like it does not occur to them that they are lighting up the entire inside of my car making it difficult to see out of the windshield. I guess it would be a considerate thing to do in case I wanted to read. I keep a copy of Ivanho under the seat for such circumstances.
The only other thing more annoying than high beems are those blue headlights. I get a headache every single time an oncomming car is shining them right in my line of sight. I need to get a set of KC's to put behind the grill so that I can fire back.
And then I am starting to see an increase in road rage these days amongst younger drivers. I mean I can sympathize with some people when they are impatient because they are on their way to work and they are running late but its like teenagers and young adults are starting to adapt this way of thinking as a normal response to someone who makes a mistake or for whatever reason they are not cooperating in the manner that they ought to.
Just this morning I was pulling out of a shopping center parking lot when the light turned green but I stopped for an oncomming firetruck (lights and siren going) and as this 20-something guy in a dodge intrepid runs right up behind me and I can visibly see the anger and outrage in his body language as he runs into the back of my car with his car. So I get out to see if there is any damage as the firetruck passes us. I was driving my 77 ford pickup with the big rusty pintle hook trailer hitch so I didn't suffer any damage but it put a big dent in his bumper and broke the front tag mount.
We get out and the first thing the guys says is, "Oh, I didn't see the firetruck coming.."
