Well look at it this way- We actually have the technology to find that bastard if he was really down there scaring us. And being that the industrial world is so impulsive these days we could not stand that fact that this would remain a legend. We would go get that SOB and put him in a zoo. -
He's no E30, thats for sure.

I dunno, I'm no "conspiracy theorist" at all - but when it comes to animals, all bets are off by me. Just from watching a ton of Discovery Channel, it's pretty obvious we are barely beginning to understand the deep sea ocean ecosystem, and as a believer in yeti/Bigfoot/sasquatch, as well as the sheer number of undiscovered/undocumented species we come across in tropical rainforests on a routine basis --- it's totally possible that this thing exists. If there was a way to gain something from finding it, the governments of the world might be more involved, but a stray sea eel is just as possible as anything if you ask me.
Seems like we know more about the moon than our own animal kingdom from all you see on the various science channels / internet, so if you get a fully sane person who themselves says that what they saw is pretty outragous, but that they saw it anyhow, that says something to me.
I don't but the aliens thing though, if they are smart enough to find a way to explore the galaxies, they are smart enough to cover their tracks if they touched down here. Or never touch down at all & just leave us the heck alone.
It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.Comment

seriously, watching that video again... it totally looks like what a burn brush with a fade can do to a still image. the editing job looks really weak if its true that they used such a function on a motion picture, thats pretty fucking lame because i could have done a better job with a screen by screen edit than this mac-movie real-time edit brush up.
it now looks REAL dumb!!Comment
