After a long departure from E30 forums, I've decided to come back.

An M50 swap is going to be underway soon, and I'd thought that I'd drop a line amongst all my OG E30 buddies.

Here's what my current car looks like:



And the donor car, totalled by my girlfriend after hitting a center divider at 50+ MPH:

Insurance isn't going to be cutting any checks any time soon, the car only had liability, and it was a hit and run accident. :(

As for the S52.. meh, I don't really care anymore. I want to buy an E46 M3 when I finish undergrad in May :D

Damn! I hear you on getting a newer car. There are times when I think, forget the E30, I can afford an E46 M3. Then the feeling passes. I like the feeling of having a small rust hole in the floor pan, ventilating my balls as I roll down the highway.

I love my E30, it's just time for a new car, especially since I'll be able to afford a new(er) car come next May when I have my bachelors in hand.
The E30 w/ the IE stage 3 is just killing me on the commutes to work (1 hour one way). And who knows where I'll be living when I start my career.
