    PS3 or Xbox 360?

I was thinking about getting a new game system. And since Forza2 came out i'm looking at the 360's. Now to the people who have played either system which do you like? (pro's and cons) Is the games better for 360? Cause i'm not seeing too many games for the PS3. And on the other hand when GT5 comes out for PS3, would i of wished that i didn't get a 360? Your thought's on this?

GT5 will be out in December (hopefully). Here is vid:
Explore the new generation PlayStation 4 and PS5 consoles - experience immersive gaming with thousands of hit games in every genre to rewrite the rules for what a PlayStation console can do.

I am curious whether or not they will incorporate a damage system. Other wise I would do a 360 with Forza2 and a nice steering wheel and pedals.
    My 2.9L Build!

I havent played the PS3 yet so I cannot comment on the beast of a machine.

      Xbox 360 Pros:
      -Amazing graphics
-Great online use even if your an idiot *if you have broadband*
-More games then ps3. Forza2 <3 and soon halo 3 which was pretty fun...boring online but storyline is always good.
-Downloading new content is a snap, even demos and uploading pictures to the intarwebz as ive been whoring from forza

      Cons:
-If you play with your system standing up chances are... something is going to go wrong!
-If you by accident lift up your 360 with a game in it playing your going to be paying another 50+ dollars for that game if you want it again! (learned the hard way)
-Like every other system I've owned... if i play it for too many hours straight not only does it start getting kind of glitchy especially if i leave it on and go away and come back to play
-A small part of your social life will die
-If you dont have HD it doesnt look better then real life :(

Thats all for now... Ill post up a picture that looks amazing on my shitty little tv idk how nice it looks on the web my images seem to lose detail when they are on here. If I didnt know better I'd say it were real.

That GT5 vidieo kicked ass, but i didn't see any black marks and i think it will be like all of the other GT games before it. Don't get me wrong i like my GT games (95% of the time i'm usally playing that game in my PS2) but it is a time to step up and be more like Forza with the customizing. I usally play racing games and some war games with my PS2, and i seen that the 360 has the same games as playstation.

I was under the impression that GT5 was just going to be granturismo 4 in High def, hence why they are calling it GTHD. IMO granturismo 4 was the biggest dissapointment in a video game ever, the physics lost so much realism from gt3. Granturismo 6 is what im going to be waiting for if they do decide to bring back the realistic physics.

You can play GT4 in HD, it looks alot better. But i may get a 360 here soon.

GTHD is NOT GT5. They are making a GT5 later, GTHD is different.

Honestly I used to be a huge Sony fan, but its just too much to justify, and my computer does what a PS3 does anyways. 360 is cheaper and has the upper hand now.

Everyone says that PS3 will be a better system soon enough...although GTA: IV is what I really, really, REALLY want. I have to wait 8 months after it comes out for it to come to PC...

That quote pretty much sums it up - we all used to love PS2's over XBOX's , but in the new generation Sony seems to really have gotten beat to the market, and the machine is overpriced and underfeatured - the cordless PS3 controllers don't even rumble. It might be a small point to some, but I like the rumble controllers, and XBOX somehow figured out how to make a cordless rumble, and bring it to market cheaper & a year ahead of Sony.

The PS3 might have some features I haven't even seen yet, but they skipped a few basics that I'd sooner see than a boatload of ports. I'm wondering if they didn't just slap this thing on the market to push Blu-ray format, and worry about a good game console was a secondary thought.

I have both machines (yes, I'm a geek - piss off) - and all I seem to power up & play is the 360 - I like the idea of GT5, but with Forza here, Halo online, Gears of War (either storyline or online), - it just makes playing the same few tracks on Motorstorm boring, and the only other game I own is Resistance, which I can't seem to get a good start in because I'd rather play Gears. I played the download GTHD when it came out, but it was just a novelty since I have enough in GT4 to make it worth it to play that with the cars I have there.

HD is great, but it's no replacement for good gameplay - I'd say Gears is way more fun than Motorstorm, despite Motorstorm being the visual goodness that it is.

I don't put games on layaway, but I'm waiting for the new Halo way more than I care when the new Gran Turismo comes out.

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.
