I wrote this guy asking questions, this is what i got.

BMWUSA can't find the car with their website look up and neither can I
the car was manufactured in Munich on 10/84. When a person does a
search it comes up as a 3/84 manufactured 4 cylinder E30 with or 323i. That
is not this car I can assure I am in the process of calling BMW Munich
to find out about the car. Also, There were limited #'s of the
prototype car sold in 1983 and 1984 as well as 1985 Less than 20 per year.

Call the owner @910-642-4246 ask for Donny.

or call BMW USA at 1-800-813-1117 and they will tell you they can't
locate the car by that vin #..
