up for sale is my mac powerbook g4. this computer is awesome,
if you are a mac lover then i shouldnt even explain how good this computer is. its about 3 years old, i used it for recording, playing gigs and touring. it shows a bit of wear cosmetically. there is abosolutly nothing wrong with it except the airport wireless is out of order right now. so i bought a wireless card and i use that. i can give you the website to a company that you ship it to and fixes anything you need. its the 15inch model with backlit keyboard.
its got 1.5 GHz processor and 1GB of Ram. 90Gig harddrive and dvd/cd burner. comes iwth extra long charger. the only reason i am selling it is because i got a new macbook as a gift. no need for two. i have taken pretty much everything off software wise, i left on some cool programs like garage band, iphoto,itunes,idvd,imovie(what i used to edit my movies). all in all this computer is a great machine. i only drive bmw's and use mac's lol.

this model computer is being sold for 1400 on apple.com and that refurbished, not even brand new. with the minor flaws this one has im asking 1000-shipped.

Is this a joke? You must be smoking some really fucked up weed if you think someone is going to spend 1000 dollars on a laptop with that kind of damage. It has obviously been dropped multiple times and probably sounds like a 747. Minor flaws, laff. Oh and try posting in the correct forum next time.

Powerbooks suffer from an overheating/chassis flex malfunction, which causes the chassis to get too hot and during the cooling process, warp.

You are asking someone to buy a beat up old Powerbook for only about $200 less (not counting discounts of course) less than they can get a brand new macbook with considerably superior specs.

G4 = no crashes MacBook = more susceptable to worm.
with that point made i owned a 15" 1.5 and sold it over 1.5 years ago for 1200 and it was cherry (i just didnt want to buy applecare)

at max that g4 is worth $800, and it is not the same as the reburbished ones because they are 1.67ghz and have the HD (higher res) screen.

just my $0.02, cut your losses and sell it on one of the mac forums.
