I watch it occasionally. I think that being a religious watcher of C-Span helps me to appriciate it.

We have a NASA channel on our cable here. Usually pretty boring, but occasionally I'll watch a shuttle launch. Generally just a bunch of boring still images or some never changing view of the shuttle.

That was actually pretty cool, really weird to see him working on the space station and then look down and see the whole earth beneath him. Is this streaming live, or prerecorded?

Supposedly its live but you never know- They could have a 45 minute delay on it or something so that if the guy bangs his thumb and says a curse word while working outside or if the astronauts get into a fight or if someone gets diarrhea and leaves the remanents of his bowels floating in mid air, NASA can save themselves some embarassment.

Yeah, that'd be kinda weird if some tragedy happened while streaming live video in space.

I'm enough a nerd to think it was cool. I saw 2 guy who looked like they were fixing stuff, and there was some audio to the stuff they were doing. Not bad.

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.
