This place is a wasteland! No offense to anyone here...but man, I could never live here. I am getting used to the heat...but man...it just is not comfortable to drive aorund when it's 108 F when I have no AC. It's just...DAMN!

Anyway...I'm having to use the hotel computer, because there's no ethernet connection in my room for my desktop.

But...is there anyone thats nearby - like between here and LA? I'd love to meet up and hang out. I feel like there's nothin to do here. I don't start work until Wednesday, so I'd like to do somethin for three days. Hell...if it's possible, I'd like to find somewhere to change my oil.

HAHAA...yes yes you all told me so.

I was laughing when I got into the valley. I kept thinkin, "SHIT, those guys WERE NOT KIDDING!" It is ungodly hot here. Hell, my temp guage on my car was reaidng 113 when entering the valley on the Twentynine Palms Highway!

Now when I drive around, I just ignore it. I'm already getting used to it. by the time August rolls around, 90 will feel cold to me. ;)
