nothing greatly special here guys unless you like crazy wildlife stuff. my parents live in south east GA on a lake of about 200 acre thats mostly cypress forest.
we have always had the egret families in certain areas of the lake, but never before a scene like this. i would say, this "nursery" covers around 15 acres and it could be close to ~750 birds per acre. with about two eggs per bird, that could come to almost 40,000 white egrets by the end of the year.
when you go in and become surrounded, the sound is quite eerie.
