    Houston Texas anybody?

I'm looking at possibly moving down to Houston(Sugar Land area). I'd be working down at Momentum BMW. What can you guys tell me about the area? Things to do, things not to do, where to go, where not to go...things like that. What do you like about the Houston area? What dont you like about it?

    Thanks in advance!

Hot, humid and you can only make left turns. That's all I really gathered from my few times there. Come to Classic here in N. Dallas. They're the largest BMW in the nation....

funny, I thought NJ was the same way but I guess it's the other way around. haha, you can spend some time in Houston undoing all the right turns... No, I'm not a tech. Call Classic back and ask them what's up! I think they are still getting some of their shit together over there. I can never get wholesale on the phone....

I'm in Houston, from VA. It's ok. I work at MAS, an independent BMW repair/race shop. No, I'm not a tech, I'm a shop bitch. I'm learning, though.

The Houston BMWCCA is a lot of fun, the people are easy to get along with. I think Houston is really not too bad, but YMMV

Momentum isnt but 10 minutes from my house. Yes its damn hot/humid here, but what do you expect. Sugar Land is a nice and fast growing city (rated #3 in the country). Like whiltebeitel said, Houston BMWCCA chapter is great, and there is all ways car stuff going on.
