Wow, I am really surpirsed. I guess to each their own. I have seen Tool 3 times, and they were good, but not the best ever. Slayer wins my award for best technical live shows (I have seen them over a dozen times). Those guys nail every note. Period. Pantera had some of the best stage presence of all time. And, Type O Negative wins an award for hottest goth bitches (and fattest).Comment

Slayer/Testament concert was my first concert. It was the Seasons of the Abyss tour. It was an amazing show for sure!Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs!

Hmm, have you seen them lately? I agree that early on when I saw them in the smaller venues, they were meh. But I saw them 3 times on the Lateralus tour, twice at the Xcel Center in St. Paul and once in Columbus Ohio. I was absolutely floored with the performance and how good they sounded. Keep in mind, Xcel is a new arena with incredible accoustics. Clapton's concert was incredible there and even Neil Diamond sounded good...Wow, I am really surpirsed. I guess to each their own. I just admitted to seeing Neil Diamond in concert...

All I do is goto shows. Seen Statc-X 4 times. You name it I have probably seen them, Cradle of Filth (2), Messhugah (2), Sepultura (2), Metallica (3), System of a Down (4), Hatebreed (5), Throwndown, Andrew WK, Hed PE, Sevendust, White Zombie, Melvins, Cherry Poppin' Daddies (6), Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Disturbed (4), Ozzy (3), Aerosmith, Children of Bodom, Avenged Sevenfold, Yellowcard, Hepcat (2), KMFDM (3), Slick Idiot, etc etc...etc etc etc...
As for Tool I saw them both times at the big gym at UCSD (called Remac Arena). It is a good venue, seen other concerts there. I don't like their new stuff. I was a huge fan of Opiate (my fav) and Undertow was decent too.Comment

Sisters of Mercy?
I agree somewhat with 10,000 days. I've always gotten the most out of every album, with Aenima being my favorite. While there are some great songs on the new album, I just cant get into all of them.Originally posted by Simon SWhen a dream is a dream for too long - it becomes a fantasy..
