my buddy bought HK's version of an AR....I only looked at it for a few minutes, but from what I saw, the upper/lower fit was awesome, and it had internal detent pins that you remove with a little push pin, trigger action was pretty crisp for a stock trigger. Definitely a quality rifle, but personally I wouldn't pay that much for an AR.

Love this rifle, matter of fact I love anything that comes out of the H&K factory.

+3 And the motion carries. There is nothing alluring about why one would want an M14 platform rifle. Its only one of the coolest fucking battle rifles ever made. You can't go wrong with one.

I thought it was yours, have you never shot it? It looks great, but the barrel hood looks like the 22 caliber conversion. Post a picture of the magazine or the muzzle end (carefully), if you want to know for sure.

I finely did it! Look what I picked up today! All I need to do is bring in a piece of DMV paperwork and she is mine, all mine!

I want to pick it up so bad!!! Sadly AAA was closed today, so I could not get my DMV resistance address changed. I need to bring that in before I can pick the 1911 up. Its killing me.
This summer I want to pick up an AR of some kind. I know I want a long thick barle so I can reach out and touch things. Does that sound wrong? lol
I have an image of it in my mind. I'd like a fixed stock as well.

And holy balls, I want that 1911 posted above. I've really been debating on building up an 870 (no express) or sticking with the handgun fetish and adding a 1911 to the collection.

Hhhhhmmm my 1911! The f**king 11 day wait is killing me. I can pick it up December 4th. I got my rental agreement notarized and handed in as proof of residence.

the hoops you guys in CA have to jump though to just buy a gun fucking amaze me. I walk in pick out, show them my CCW, sign my name, pay and leave its about a 5-15 min ordeal

Yea I love walking into a gun store and walking out 10 minutes later with my handgun of choice.

Now I'm torn between two guns. I could buy a .38/.357 lever action or a ar-15 lower to build my first ar. Decisions, decisions.

WOW dub I didnt know they were getting that low again. 50 bucks for a lower makes me a little suspicious of the quality of both the materials used and the machining

No problems with these, good write ups and all. Just the market is flooded. My old roommate just ordered one and with $7 shipping it was under $57. I have too many and have other projects to complete. So Im out of this one, but still that is as low as I have ever seen them.
