^ Pretty much. They're apparently made from tarps used in south american cargo trucks and what not. Thats not what really sold me, I tried my buddies, and it was comfy and I liked the look of it. Here's the site: http://realdealbrazil.com/<---Goodnight, sweet prince

Just added a Mossberg 500 to my collection. A must have according to many. It came w 18inch extra barrel for home security. Going to gunshow this weekend to pick up some parts and accessories. Tee hee
Btw- got for 279 from big5. Was down from 399 regular price. Had to "pull the trigger". Pun intendedLast edited by greanthumb; 09-06-2012, 05:18 PM.91 318is...DD:finger:/85 325es SOLD/91 318is RIP

Thanks gents. I picked it up at a local shop that just opened last Friday. They had a whole shelf of new Noveske chainsaw lowers and a few of the non-blemished lowers as well. The only blemish on my lower is that spot on the grip mount that looks like a dust speck in the picture.
I planned on using the Noveske for my SBR and engraving inside the trigger guard for discretion purposes, but the more I look at it, I don't know if I can engrave over that chainsaw. It's too cool. Where did you engrave your lower AZ? I'm rolling around the idea of getting a Mega billet lower or a POF Gen III lower to stamp and throwing my DD middy on the Noveske. Only downside to billet is that there's no hiding the engraving inside the trigger guard. I'm hoping that I'll only be doing the process once so I might spring for a billet lower simply for the cool factor. I've read that tax stamps tend to multiply though once the first one arrives though so who knows....

I approve this post! What was the going rate for your lower? And yes tax stamps are addicting! :)Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs!

Anyone here own or have had a chance to hold the new Russian Vepr? comes in an array of calibers (.308 sounds like fun) and different length barrels 16.5,20,23. It also is a very good price, right around the same as the saigas depending on which one you choose. Im looking to get something new so I can stop shooting up my 5.56 ammo but would like to go with another caliber that can be found in bulk. 7.62x39 is abundant but something about an ak chambered in .308 sounds like a lot of fun to target with.(yes, an ar I do not have any intentions on hunting or using the gun for any other purpose other than home protection and just target practice at the range with my dad, brother, friends, etc. If anyone has any recommendations for a solid semi-auto weapon that has bulk available(200rd+ boxes) then give me a shout and show me what you got. i would guess my longest shots would be just some 300 yarders but most will be just targets at <100yards.
centerfire is carrying the VEPR right now for a steal of a price. almost too inexpensive.

My question in reading your post is, you are looking at inexpensive guns in semi auto that shoots bulk ammo. You would like a 308 but post up cheap guns? I would stay away from 308 if price is a concern.

would really like to keep it around like 7-800 or less then i would add optics bipod possibly. the .308 was appealing in that particular rifle because of its price. it is more expensive in bulk, but is available. it isnt high grain long range .308 either as that can be pricey. 7.62x51 may be cheaper than .308 in bulk.
about the post ban models that is a setback because there isnt really any add ons you can get for the vepr and it doesnt accept standard ak47 magazines either, at least without modification.
edit: i also considered selling ar and picking up an FALLast edited by broach328; 09-29-2012, 07:22 AM.
