Again keep your shit to yourself unless directed to you and Ill still offer sound advice on this topic and even show you the best deals if you were ever looking. Thanks for caring!
Couldn't you have just said that, instead of arguing that you aren't 18 and trying to imply people who don't choose to blow $400/trip must be broke? As much as you wanted to put Gasturbine in his place for his attitude a month ago, can't you at least acknowledge that your fun is just that - about enjoying excess rather then anything than what you do must be less being substandard.

If you want a serious gun forum check out AR15.com. Every manufacture is on there and will answer direct questions. Mostly military and police. But be careful, they are very right sided and will give you a run for your money when it comes to your other views. :)
Yeah, that's pretty much exactly what I've found talking to people. I guess it's a good thing to have fans. There's a few ranges around but not sure if they have all available (and want to know what to check out), but people in one of those threads just recommended buying both and seeing. I might be in the market for two anyway, but one may need to fit well in small women's hands and that was actually the only positive thing I read about P22's. We'll see how Ruger grips work out though and go from there afterwards.

You do realize I typically vote Republican right? Or are you just of the mindset that anyone who doesn't buy into retarded extreme bullshit that is being pushed must be a liberal? As much as there might be people who fly their flag upside-down or think Obama is a non-American Muslim, it doesn't mean that people who don't believe in such aren't on the right-side of the line.

I have been waiting for my first paycheck at my first real job after graduating to buy some stuff! As a reward :)

I set aside some of the first 2 weeker for something fun!

What you guys buy with $1,000? And saving is out of the question because that's where the rest went. This has been long awaited!

I was planning on picking up an m&p45c in fde but the stupid gun craze ruined that plan for now

I need some pistol mags, maybe a little ammo

I have been wanting to get into the reloading game. I have saved my brass for some time as I knew eventually I would start

Would investing in a setup be a good idea you think? It's either this or I'm thinking a couple handguns or a rifle or something. The only reason I'm on the fence about it is where to set it up.. Don't have a solid area for it

Thoughts? What kind of setupss do you have? I'm local to Dillon and my good buddies shop does all of the work on their 1050's. so I'm leaning towards them for easy access to anything
For a grand you can get into reloading but that is about the starting point.

      Dillon 550
Digital powder scale ( for building precision loads )
      Micrometer
      Tumbling machine
      Dyes
Reloading supplies such as powders, primers, media,

The list goes on and on. Then you have to have the work area and a bench to set it all up.

Is it worth it? Yes and no. Dont think you are going to saves tons of money reloading. You just produce a better quality load for about the same price as bulk ammo. It takes a lot of time and very tedious. But its therapeutic and rewarding producing sub MOA ammo on the cheap.
Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs!

Yeah I figure it would only get me into it slightly. i have a buddy with a 550 and so far he loves it but keeps saying everything added up quickly. I also have another friend that says if I buy the dies I can use his 1050 but I kind of want my own setup i think.

I find rolling coins extremely relaxing so I think this would be a lot like that is for me

I just want to many things :/ my turbo build is never going to get finished if i keep buying gun stuff

"Aggressive"? I dont think so. I was merely sharing my experience and observations on the 1911 platform. Others didnt agree so I explained my position. Still they argued with out providing any real argument for their position. So I moved on.

Why don't we just let things rest. Views and opinions are like assholes. Everybody has one.

Let's try to keep this thread clear of arguments.

basic searches and stuff....found some at some places with less than stellar reviews, or for prices I'm willing to wait for to come down.

I know where there are a couple. I dont think you will like the pricing though. LMT stuff and LMT is out of stock of everything but S/F-F/A parts. But even that is really low I think. My FFL just ordered some of the last of that stuff for his stash.

also if you can find a full auto bolt and carrier it works ( and better than the half moon AR Carrier ) and its 100 percent legal to have in your AR15.

Yo sleeve, you see the promo for Last Stand yet? Not sure how much TV you get to see on the road but it kept playing last night while viewing gun reviews on YouTube.

LOL Been on R&R for a while now heeter. No I have not seen that promo, been watching a lot of Tvio and FF the adds.

Oh and Having shot both the Buckmark (when they were browning) and the Ruger MKII and III I am bigger fan of the Rugers. I really wished I had never sold my MKII to help fiance my 1st 1911. I really miss that little guy and have just never gotten around to replacing it

Edit: HAHAHA so thats what that movie is called. Yeah I have seen the full trailer for it. When we went to go see Argo, a week or 2 ago. Looks like lots of gratuitous explosions and gun fire, good guy movie but I suspect its going to have a soft and prolly shitty shity story line and Ah-Nolds acting.

Seems you would be more of a "Promised land" for holiday movie kinda guy ;)
