$1100 for an $849 MSRP rifle?

    Comment

MSRP is out of the window at this point. $1100 really isn't bad at all, plus its got some gadgets with it.

All the "gadgets" are a part of the $844.74 MSRP and $1100 is pretty bad when you could get a carbon 15 for $699 on black Friday with a regular price of $749. Panic buyers can spend whatever they want though.

Exactly. I'm not buying it, haha, I built my LMT for under $1k before all of this nonsense, but at least prices have come down somewhat.

It costs a whopping $199 brand new and the reviews dont seem bad at all.

Ryan have you looked at the LCP for ruger at all, I know they are a bit more money, but personally I am NO fan of Tauras

Infernal: 5.5-22x56 w/ NP-R2 will be setting in a Near Manufacturing 30moa Tri Ring Alpha mount.

Needless to say this little venture has killed my firearms budget for the year lol

Indeed I have, held them both within 5 minutes of each other. Neither really fits my hands at all, but for the price I think the Taurus would be my choice. If money wasn't an issue, I'd be rocking a PPK..

There is a reason it costs $199. Save your pennies and get a Ruger!

I love the shit out of Ruger, but I don't have good things to say about the LCP or LC9. I've owned an LC9 and shot an LCP. I will never own either of them again.

edit: I lied, one nice thing about them... they are light and easy to carry. That is all.

What's that based on? Everything I've read so far seems good or typical of small, pocket sized firearms. Taurus does have its fair share of skeptics, but according to some of the gun guys on BFC and various forums I've browsed they seem to have improved a lot in recent years.

I know people who have had both and always seem to have issues with the Taurus (in general). My aunt and uncle both carry the LCP and have a mess of rounds through them with no issues. Ruger stuff is awesome, I have 2 of them and have never had an issue (SR9C and SR22)
