Bought this as a birthday present for myself:

I just picked up a new billet lower, which as it turns out, was a stupid idea since nothing else is available. It's from Schreyer Weapon Systems, which is a newer local outfit that got it's start building AKs and dura/cera coating.

^ I'm grabbing mine this week. But being I'm in MD I have to get it now.

The other parts will come back in stock, so just tuck it away for a few months.


That is one nice looking lower though. Mine is a NFA polymer, apparently the new polymer's aren't so bad. We'll see.

I've also been thinking of picking up a stripped lower as well with the talks going on here (in MD).

I can always grab an upper at a later time.

.40 is plentiful. You won't have much problem finding it. One good thing about that round, with as much hate it gets... the supply seems steady.

It's a Crossbreed, OWB style. I dont really ever carry OWB so i'll probably sell it/trade it. I already ordered an IWB from Rogers Custom Kydex Holsters.

Yeah it was for a while but lately couldnt find any. Luckily i hit walmart this AM and they were stocking the shelves so i walked out with 300 rds of FMJ. Just gotta find some carry loads after I run it through the range and ill be set.

And yeah its super small. Really narrow which i love. Basically a single stack mag with 6/7 rounds. Fits my hand nicely, going to be my summer carry gun since it's so easy to conceal.

It goes quick nowadays, but you can find plenty of it. Much easier than any other caliber for handgun.
