The Tavor is also completely ambidextrous. Its also completely badass. My buddy bought one a couple months ago and I have been itching to shoot it.Comment

Thats funny, I am having this debate on another forum. Personally I would go with the AUG well before the Tavor.Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs!

Tavor is able to as well, but the Aug is able to do a quick change with the barrel even when hot.
Also the new AUG is made in America.
As far as the Tavor goes I have seen posts of bolt issues.Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs!

Does anyone know of any carbine shooting courses that are done in the mid Atlantic area? I've always wanted to take one they look like a lot of fun.

What do you guys think about the FN SPR A1? There is a local place that has them for under $1,300
What confuses me though, they sell all over the major gun forums at that price. But you can't seem to find used ones for less than $1,600?
From what I have read though it is a fantastic shooter right out of the gate.
I'm still torn between r700/Tika and now these are tempting meYour signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.Comment

out of all those choices I would get the Tikka, or put a touch more with the suggested cost of the FN and get a Sako Stainless synthetic or similar. I have yet to hear anything bad about the Tikkas, they sound like fantastic rifles
Even though Remington is probably the most common rifle out there. In every thread i see i still see people talking about lemons being pretty common and people getting rifles that need lots of work to shoot well out of the box. which keeps me looking at other options even when they are more expensive
Ideally i think finding a lightly used rifle is going to be my best route. I would like to have some money left over for glass and a stock depending on the rifle i go with
Someday soon!
I did however pick up a buffer tube setup and B5 SOPMOD stock so my MK18 will be more sbr and not a pistol
Also picked up one of these!!! I have wanted one for sooo long and I cannot wait to use it

True. It was cheaper, I have a lot of 380 ammo already since I had a BG380, and a little less recoil. I'm trying to get my wife into shooting and the 10mm kinda ruined it for her. I want her to learn to shoot. I had my eye on the CZ-82/9x18 but got this instead. I am looking at SCCY CPX2 9mm from AIM as well but the Ruger was easier to get my hands on. It seems decent.
