Thats the exact reason to do it.

This is from Veterans day.. Was able to sneak away for an hour to hit the range!

Finally was able to shoot my SBR... and it was awesome! shot so smooth and flawless. I now just need to finish up the lower and get it anodized. Its been a real fucking pain to find someone to do it :/

I also shot some 9mm reloads i worked up for my USP. I need to up the powder a bit and pick up a chrono so i can check velocities but they shot really well too

Anybody go through the process of getting a revocable trust or setting up an LLC for their NFA stuff? Care to share any pointers? I've been slacking for the last year getting a surpressor and SBR built, and a SBS sounds so fun! I think it's time to get motivated.

Right, but when he's carrying it normally (not target shooting), does he have the .40 barrel in it?

Yep, he put the 9mm barrel in for me since I was taking it out to just shoot. He has so has the G27 subcompact .40 that he carries.

Gotcha. The way I read the post I initially quoted made it seem to me like he kept the 9mm barrel in it always haha. Reading comprehension when I'm tired isn't great.

I have a trust. What all you wanna know?

It's pretty easy. You can either set it up through lawyer or use quicken will maker or an online template

Them you just send off your forms with a copy of your trust

I went the lawyer way mainly because it was free for me to do so

Better now them never because the wait for the stamp is super long!

Main things are cost of lawyer, I don't want to go will maker. My luck I will screw it up and they won't catch it for a couple years then bam all my new goodness is gone :-(

What people have been rejected for, and if you have to start the process from scratch of if you can ammend it and continue the process.

How do you go about the process? Purchase from the dealer then go to the lawyer to have the trust written up? Send in trust with proper forms.

Can you send in for multiple tax stamps at the same time with one trust? IE supressor and SBR

I really need to just get my ass down the the dealer I go through and talk to him huh? Probably be easier.

You'll want your trust some prior.

The easiest and best way I think is to send a form 1 on your existing lower you own. That way you can keep it in your possession and slap a pistol buffer tube on and shoot the rifle

If you buy an sbr from the dealer then you have to send a form 4 and they keep the item until the stamp shows up. So you won't see any fun for almost a year.

You can send off as many as you can afford!

Yeah I would go talk with them. They will know best but I would seriously sbr a lower you have already and do the engraving and that way you can keep it as a pistol and not locked in NFA jail at the dealer

Seriously wanting to pick up a 92A1 in December. 3 paychecks ftw.

Any advice? I have always wanted a 92fs.

92A1 is at the top of my list. My friend is saving for an XD(M) 4.5" 9mm so we should hopefully be able to trade and grade them pretty well down the road. I shot a 96FS and loved how it fit in my hand and preferred it to the Springfield, personally. Racking a CZ slide is uncomfortable with the small amount of slide exposed and my big fingers. And didn't care for the Glocks I've fired, so for a full-size 9mm, 92 seems ideal to me.

The only other thing I might consider is the 92FS Compact - only has 13 rounds but has a rail and nice proportions.

Yay, just got a tracking number for 2 lowers. They will be in tomorrow :-) Still need to decide on the second build, may be a pistol build till I can get a tax stamp :-)
