Are you kidding me!? Thats not very green of them to do that. Aren't we supposed to reuse things? F'ing losers.

My lame ammo supply. It was cheap to get all this either. Sad, and now with that we can't get any DOD reloads, its only going to get worse.

*I actually bought more ammo since these pics, but still its not what I want. I want Ammo filling basically a typical bathroom about chest deep and that would only be enough to feel ok. At least I'm pretty well covered in other area's. I'm looking to sell my 2003 IS300 and buy an SUV of some kind if anyone wants it.

Here is the progress on my new AR:

And a random shot of my first AR:

      S&W 910 9mm
      - Includes 3 mags and box (17round capacity in a normal length mag)
      - For sale $450
      - Trade for other guns (Browning Hi-Power/CZ-75/AK variants/or ???

Yeah I'm in college and well.....have no job, so I guess I have an ok amount. I'm in the whole SHTF mentality and want to be prepared in all ways. I do make money, I just don't have a regular job.

            Hey guys,

This is an update to the government brass resale thing. Its already been corrected and lets hope the price of ammo does not rocket anymore. Im going broke!

This is a copy of a post from someone on the inside about what happened!

            - Enter the new administration. Since Demil B category items had been given a broad, general label as "national security sensitive" someone above the DRMS (likely in the DLA) reviewed the policy and immediately went with a CYA policy and yanked all exemptions. No thoughts or considerations were given to the implications of this policy change, but this directive was issued to DOD Surplus effective immediately last week.

            - Shit storm blows up as a result. In particular, the letters, phone calls, and emails to our legislators, the media, and anyone else who would listen caused this policy to be review post haste.

            - As of this morning our company was informed that expended munitions brass will now be reclassified as Demil Q –– which requires no mutilation unless sold to a foreign country.

There you have it. The policy change was simply the result of some n00b administrator attempting to close a perceived "national security" loophole and brass got caught up in the snare. There was no political motivation behind the policy change, but it is good that people like us were suspicious, got involved, and helped bring about a resolution.

I sent a bunch of emails to senators too, lol. Whatever it lets them know that people care about this stuff. THanks for the update.

Yea, I was looking at the CZ-75 P01..the new 9mm based on the old compact but its enourmous and has almost the same length as a full size 1911. My next gun will be the old CZ-75 compact just for "fun" shooting at the range. A plus is my bro reloads for his 1911 so ammo isn't going to be terrible.

And for $750 NEW, I thought it was a bargain compared to the PO1 which was 729

Wow they wanted $729 for teh P-o1? Thats seems high to me since I can get the regular CZ-75b for $490 brand new. I saw that Kimber for $710 at that same shop.

Yea they were way high on the P-01 and couldn't explain why. Its not what I was looking for though since its size (length) is pretty comparable to a full size 1911. The 75 compact (older version) is why more compact. The high price was because of availablity issues, which I guess I can see since I had a hard time finding one online...but didn't really look that hard.
